Sun roof drain tubes -

Is it possible to get access to the drain tubes for the sunroof in the roof area without removing the the chrome trim lists which holds the whole roof lining at the ends?. The panel which sists in front of the roof is loosened to the maximum (all screws removed) but it is fixed to the chrome lists. Do I need to remove these from the car!!. The left drain tube leaks!! in the roof area and has probably been leaking since leaving Karmann

You do have to take the rain gutter trim" door seal and the aluminum trim rail off and then peel off the headliner very carefully. Ill hard to believe the drain tube would come loose though. Do you think you might have a rust hole near the drain tube?
